    St Paul2

Come on, Piotr, my office has been just behind St Paul's for the past 5 years, and I have never seen this part of town looking so colourful. Have you increased the colour saturation in Photoshop? The sky also looks too blue to me. I still like the result though..just curious about whether this has been heavily processed.

This is a nice shot, well executed. In terms of the composition, I like the outhouse, but the main hut is a bit too central for my liking. It is difficult to say without seeing the original, but I would suggest cropping just left of the bench on the left side.
  1. Kenneth, this is a great photograph. I love taking night shots of cities, but what is your secret? How do you calculate exposure? You can see some of my attempts, shot in London and Sydney, and they are OK but your command of exposure is awesome!

On the whole I like the shot Tom, but I have two comments. Firstly, the horizon is not level, which I think would show up if you make an enlarged print. I have fixed that in Photoshop in the past. Secondly I don't think the aspect ratio is wide enough for a 'panoramic' viewpoint, so I would be inclined to crop less of the sea in the foreground. I like the composition of the buildings though.
