You captured the exuberance of the children very well here. I like the colors and the energy.
-
Lovely composition and just the right mix of vivid and subtle colors.
-
You really caught the glow of the leaves in the sun well.
-
Well, the color version works as fine art, the black and white has a photo journalism quality. Great composition, I like both! The pits (bullet holes?) in the wall look more ghastly in the B&W though.
-
The subdued color palette and composition are interesting. I like the combination of linear and curved, rigid and fluid elements and the abstract quality too. Nice work!
-
A bit dark, but great composition!
-
The three kinds of artificial light make this interesting.
-
Interesting composition with the almost monochrome monk and the vivid colors of the drum.
-
The color of the mushrooms and the texture of the moss came through well. It is a bit dark, as this would be in the shady woods, it is appropriate. The image suggests Bonsai to me.

I like the rich colors and the composition!

Hi Chris
I am impressed with your ability to capture these painterly compositions from a moving train. As a former Utah resident and frequent tourist in Colorado, it was a treat to see these scenes.

Interesting sky, but this looks just a bit flat.
-
Qualities of landscape painting.
-
You really caught the meanders of the river, and the background -- "purple mountain majesties" coms to mind. Wonderful palette.

Who needs Photoshop for special effects? Looks like a painting! It is amazing you caught this from a moving train.

This probably more accurately detail the rock formation, but I think the previous photo was more interesting.
-
The interesting sky, the blue makes the rock formation stand out. The shadow adds depth to the composition.
-
The combination of reds and earth tones from the canyon walls and the greens by the river are interesting.
-
I like the composition of this better than the first photo of Gore Canyon, but the violet tones in the sky don't look like the go with the scenery.

The swan with the ducks is an interesting composition, but I am looking at it in bits and pieces because of the resolution at which it was uploaded.

Although photos of sailing on perfectly clear days are lovely, this really shows some character.
-
Incredible detail and sharp focus.
-
The tree trunks in the background make the fawn stand out. Nice catch!
BOATS - Taken this summer in Rockport. Shot from top of dock with many angle possiblilities. I am pleased with the compisition .. Please share your thoughts...
