Well seen. Well smelled. Stood in the very same spot in 1987. Should pull out some of my old kodachromes but it always amazes me how low a keeper rate we had back then. Oh but for digital. I'm sure I don't have on up to this standard. Thanks for posting. Brings back some great memories. I'll have to check out the rest of your portfolio now.

I would love to see how you would print this, choice of paper etc., Excellent work.

I'd actually taken a few shots of this interesting wall mural over prior
months then passing by one day came across this.

Was she hiding from your camera or just resting? Always a close call and I've struggled with images like this myself. It works because of her hands which I think make the image in contrast to her black garments. I checked out your portfolio and although this is good I like some of your others more. Great images.

Nice job. Great application of that fast 85 and the 5D. I'm alittle surprised at the depth of field since I assume you must have shot fairly wide open.

Great high key effect. Your gallery has given me tons of ideas. What more can one ask for on this forum?! Well done.

good contrast / lines. I like the bw filter effect.

I like the detail in the cloth.. her eyes draw you into the image. I went back twice to look at this image. Excellent

I presume you playing on the Stones line 'what a drag it is getting old?' Well done.

I like this shot... monolith in background.. movement of figure.. well done. The black frame to left is distracting and for me doesn't enhance the image.

Where were you???

Just came back from a mall where some of the stores had their xmas displays out.. and now this!! But really, excellent image/scene.. can only imagine what it must look like on 220 film.. well exposed, you must have fired a few tests at different levels of dusk to get one this well balanced, kudos and happy holidays (I guess?)..

This is a neat shot... I use coolpixes also and would have shot at least a couple of bracket exposures, perhaps 1 over and 1 under, then combined them in photoshop to get a little more detail out of the tire and undercarriage and sky.. this scene just has too much dynamic range for a digital ps... I think this angle is a great application of the coolpix and wa adapter.. well done.

good eye.. wish it were a little sharper..

Lovely image.. suffers from a rough scan, not your fault. Nice to see you're using a Minolta X700. One of my first slr's and still in service. I don't understand the horizon's pincushion distortion from a prime 50mm lens though, maybe just the scan? Ignoring those minor technical issues, once again, lovely image!

Interesting shot.. extra points for shooting from the hip..

Excellent sepia... aged scene.
