Thanks David... to be honest, I'm just glad I got anything from this shoot. Talk about a royal pain in the ass. Looks amazing large. I took the image and moved the saturation slider all over the place and you're probably right. More Red would help it a ton.

Thanks again. Hope you're well my friend.

Hi Darren, This is one shot. I had 3 sticks on incense going into the palm. No light is directly on the palm so it didn't show up. There was a little trail of smoke at the very bottom of the frame that I erased out. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

I agree with Mary. Crop it, you ruin it. Really outstanding shot. The image is nothing that you expect. It's almost conceptual in nature. A freshly married couple getting into a vehicle of war (well it's not a hughie but close enough). If that doesn't make a statement about marriage I don't know what does.

There are many here more knowledgeable than me but I just wanted to throw in my 2 cents. To me this image is a bit unfocused. Between the sink on the right and the tub on the left my eye just doesn't know where to settle. Most of the time it's on the tub. I also feel the model is a bit too small in the frame and the room is taking too much of the focus away.
The light is really excellent on the subject but since it's a bit over powering on the subjects in the room, again, the image just looses focus for me. I cropped it a bit and find that I like the image a lot more without the other items in it.

Sort of a cool image but the balance is off to me. The subject splits the frame and then everything is happening on the right side. My eye is constantly drawn to the pilings and the man is just an incidental to me. I wonder what it would be like if the gent was facing the camera and not with his back turned. That way the viewer could engage the subject instead of trying to what he's looking at in the frame.

No major manipulation here. What you see is what the camera saw after

400 clicks of the shutter. Levels, USM, Little dodging and burning.

Thanks guys. I like to see what physicists think. It's pretty cool. Here's one for you. The hammer is actually hitting the 'liquid'. How much force would the hammer have to generate to break the glass by just hitting the liquid. LOL!!!

Dave. I was thinking the same thing. I might try it again with it all stopped. Thanks man. Hope you're well.

  1. Hey Marc... sorry I don't around here much any more...

This is from a small set of images I did on rehabilitation. While you go though it, albeit hard, you're protected from your addictions. But once you get out of rehab the iron coating goes away and you're left to your own power.

Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't.
