Rene, whenever I get bored/frustrated with this forum I find one of your photos and remember why I keep looking. I think that you're at your best when you work with this kind of directness and simplicity. This model is so naturally beautiful as to seem not quite of this world. Angelic. The power of true beauty is undeniable. Thank you for posting this stunning work.-jdf

Great shot, and on vintage equipment. A man after my own heart. I'm sure that the highlights are more subdued in the actual print, but even here it seems a minor point. Uncanny resemblance to Brooke shields! Show us more of this.-jdf

I like this very much. It seems one nipple short of perfection. One of the things that I like about these kinds of torso shots are the two discrete aspects of the breasts, and this shot just misses that opportunity. Beautiful model, great lighting, good composition. I bet the print is even more beautiful. I'd like to see more of this work. You seem to have great models to work with, and a good eye for this kind of work. Keep it up.-jdf

I love the sweet, innocent, relaxed nood of this photo, and of course, the model is beautiful as well. The use of contrast and softness work very well together here, along with a strong composition. The pastel palette add to the serenity as well.-jdf
  1. I love this photo. I love the solitary figure watching the world pass him by, I love the palette that suggests motion sickness, I love the reflections in the train window that lead the eye directly to the center of interest. I feel for the traveler here. Bueno, zehr gut, and bravo!

This photo feels sincere and warm and confident, what more could one want? The line would bother me if it were my photo, but not yours. A portrait to be proud of, and I'll bet your subject likes it as well.

I think this is a beautiful portrait, and the distance between the sitters is an important part of the emotional impact, and psychological component. I also appreciate the simple caption, which adds to the appreciation without telling the viewer what to think.-jdf
