Great shot Justin. Wonderful expression captured. I would just suggest having the back and legs darker, so that the focus is more on her face. cheers
  1. I agree that this is a beautiful shot. But I would echo the criticism that it is over filtered in the sky. I would prefer shots where the reflections overwhelm the light of the actual sky, just a matter of personal preference. Perhaps if circumstances permitted, it would have been interesting to see ND2 or ND1 so that the reflection and sky were balanced. But, still a very good job, cheers
  2. Wonderful expression captured on the model. Not sure what was meant by above poster about being better in color. This is not a scene that would have revealed any extraordinary colors. Rather, the texture, lines and tone lend itself well to B/W. Overall, very captivating photo.

Excellent work ... contrast and tone just perfect. Composition: have you considered cropping closer to rid the ringlets of the hood? Some faces just look like a story-telling book ... very good subject.
  3. Seems some of the criticism with your photo revolves on the muscularity of the subject, the athleticism of which I actually appreciate. Some people prefer soft and others hard bodies ... I think it is a wonderfully captivating photo, nice tones and texture. I suspect the ever increasing and positive rise of women's athletics will bring a sea change in classically subjective standards of female beauty. Good work :)

very well done ... the mist effect is very nice ... have you tried a polarizer? it may bring out a lusher green on the moss, but maybe not, as the mist and slow exposure might obviate the use of a polarizer... very good shot!
  4. great shot :) beautiful area ...would it have been possible to move forward a step or two and just include the left directioned rail without the structure at the bottom of the picture? sometimes you can't get a shot without risking life and limb :)
