I have a question regarding the Pentax 645 (maual focus model)

battery.

I have and use the camera rarely, and was wondering what would happen

if I don't change that internal battery.

I remove the AA battery pack when not in use and when camera is

usually empty. It would sit for weeks on end, before any kind of use.

The camera is about six years old and purchased new.

Any one????

Try putting a slr 135 in one pcoket! URGGHHHH!

I purchased a used Canadian 50mm cron in NYC several years ago for $650.00 and have been very happy with it. Use it almost as much as my 35 cron which I purchased new.

I am a newspaper photographer for a small publication. The company

recently went digital giving us a Nikon D1 and D1H. The computers at

work are set up for Nikon camera with Compact Flash Memory Cards. My

background in the digital is not very knowledgeable, being an old b/w

film shooter.

I am thinking of buying a digital p/s for work. Perhaps the Nikon

885, 5000 or the newer 4700.

I am looking for any experience on this, perhaps advsie on other

manufactures that will adapt to the hardware at work.

The Leica Digilux 1 is intersting and i understand it doesn't use the

same carda as of the Nikons.

Any Thoughts, Comments, quidance?????

I too watched the attack on tv.

I was assigned to work the primary night coverage for the local newspaper. The night's work turned into the assistance and responce of Staten Island rendered.

What followed was countless numbers of funerals across the island of people killed in the attack. I never shot so many funerals in my career. So many tears.

I'm on vacation that week..perhaps an oversight from the newpaper. Perhaps luck, who knows.

I spending the time with my wife of thirty years. Perhaps a trip to Woodstock,NY or New Hope..yeah New Hope....
