Fantastic perspective, subject, sky, lighting (especially). Plus, really illustrates the potential of that lens on full frame: wow!

A wonderful picture, technically amazing depth of focus, beautiful colors, but, but, but:
There are so many of these, photo.net is inundated with "10-22" shots, I just get tired of the prone shots of sunset (or rise), from pebble (or moss, rocks, etc) perpective.

I like the jet trails.

An effortless adjustment that makes a fresh and eye-opening take on an already powerful perspective. Can't believe I just typed that, oh well...
If you present anyone with a framed print: it will need hanging instructions ;)

For me the main tip off of manipulation is the clouds, they seem to loom inches behind the horizon and windmill. Still, accepting this as a composition of separate images: very nicely done, a striking and iconic image. The multi-color tulip spokes work well.

Just too formal, posed, coifed, etc, for my taste. Years from now, will you be able to look back and say that's the way it was? Depends on your objective. Obviously very well done, but not my cup of tea.

Not sure, this is from 1978. Just the usual play, I guess. It's a series of 3 pictures, the light was just fantastic, and I got lucky. She's all grown up now, with kids of her own. Thanks for commenting.

Really like the composition: very simple and clever.

I like this a lot. Just curious, did you leave the lint and dust in for effect, or just didn't get around to it.
-
Just curious, does anyone know what's causing that diffuse amber glow?

You beat me to it, would say the same thing: a story in this pose. The angle of the awning reinforces it. Very memorable.

Tried taking out the crane, and a reflection caused by a window I was shooting through, and straightened the vertical lines. Food for thought. Thanks all! Couldn't figure how to post in the message, so just added to my 20D folder.

When I looked at the thumbnail, I could have sworn this was an arial view of a crowd, like the beginning of a marathon, a concert lineup, something like that.

Alternate title: "The Sheltering Sky"? (a novel) Beautiful picture!

Dramatic clouds and composition. IMHO, something needs to happen with the brightness, say hold the shadow where it is but pull up midrange a bit and even more for the highlights, giviing the white ridge more punch?

Looks like center weighted exposure picking up the fern and surrounding ground. I don't think you can win. If you had increased exposure "much", the fern would have blown out. It's nice, a tricky light situation for slide film, though.

Looks right to me, late winter afternoon, the right feel. The cloud pattern and silhoetted tree are nice contrast to the mundane truck.

From my albeit slanted perspective (I'm slogging thru a wack of scratched and dusty tri-x, with healing/history/clone brushes), it looks like there's a lot of specks and water marks on this picture. Unless you intentionally wanted this, why not take the time to clean before posting?

priceless expression!

Not really a comment on the photograph, which is fantastic, but:
There is a humorous edge to this. There are gathering storm clouds on the horizon of this marriage, LOL.
