Heres the Finshed image of the image i posted before called start to

a wedding photo..... would love to hear what you think

I love it. I hate copies and this grabs your attention out of a sea of generic wedding photos. The subject of the wedding really makes it work, otherwise this is just another storm laden sky over a mid-western state photo. Two conflicting images, one being the best day of their lives, while the other looks to threaten those very lives.

I think it's great also. If it were mine, though, I might crop the top a bit to change the ballance a little.

I agree with Mr. Frazier that the juxtaposition is really interesting. But I can't think of anyone who would embrace the metaphor of storm clouds in a wedding photo. It's a tremendous image and quite an accomplishment - great composition and texture. But strictly as a wedding photograph I can't see it working.

They have a long long way at this time :)

I like the contrast. Could crop a bit off the top, but not much. My eye starts at the top, then zeroes in on the couple.

Not really a comment on the photograph, which is fantastic, but:

 

There is a humorous edge to this. There are gathering storm clouds on the horizon of this marriage, LOL.
