I spent a lot of time manipulating this picture in Photoshop. It
was originally taken on Sensia 100 and scanned on Nikon Coolscan V.
I darkened the balloons in the upper right. I blurred the
background temple. I wanted to emphasize the elderly woman and
elephant. Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm not sure what to do with the dark corner in the upper right.
What do you think of the picture as a whole? I used a unique lens.

I shot with a 35mm lens at f2.8 Do you think a wider aperture would
have been better? I also struggled on photoshop to get the statue a
little brighter as it was in shade compared to the last remaining
rays of light on the person reading. Does this work?

What do you think of the composition and picture?

What do you think of the infrared capture?

I tried to tone down the blue from the altitude, but I'm not sure if
it made the sky look unnatural. What do you think?

Keep this crop or change it to 8x10/11x14 format?

What do you think i can do to improve the black and white
conversion? This was Provia 100F and I am trying to make the best
black and white print. I appreciate any help you can give.

I never realized how much I like taking pictures of people.

I only wish I had taken another lighter exposure so I could blend
the two pictures. What do you think?

I had to do some severe correction of barrel distortion with this
particular lens. I learned my lesson. No more landscape
photography with this zoom lens.

Thanks for the tip, Tom. Another friend of mine suggested Noise Ninja, and I just tried it. It is fantastic. I am really excited to work with Noise Ninja and to print this.

I am curious of what people think. Most pictures have hummingbirds
next to flowers, but these were mostly feeding at feeders, and I
didn't want to capture the artificial feeder.
I used ISO 800 film, because I was in the rainforest and there
wasn't much light. My only other film at the time was Provia 100F.
I am curious whether others will suggest that I have switched to
that slide film. This would have made me change my exposure. My
meter was reading f5.6 1/250sec. Three stops would have put me at
f4 1/60sec or f2.8 1/125 sec. OR I could have made the background
darker by one stop f4 1/125sec and use the flash more. What would
you have done?

It was raining but the sun was out creating the flare coming from
the left. I'm curious what others will think of this picture.

Channel Mixer 100% red channel only. Perhaps too dark?

What do you think of the mood? This is a scan of a slide. I
cropped the picture and increased the blue and then sharpened it.

I know I cut off his antler, but I am new to nature photography.
What do you think?

No photoshop manipulation except resizing. However, if you were to
touch this up in photoshop, what would you do? I am not well-versed
in Photoshop yet!
