I know I cut off one of the antlers, but this is my first attempt at wildlife photography

I know I cut off his antler, but I am new to nature photography.

What do you think?

Since you pointed out the obvious, that you cut off the antler I guess the best I can say is that it is a very great looking shot.

Well, apart from the antler incident... it's an excellent portrait. To have eye contact is great, and to get that detail in the hair is commendable. All I'd say is get back out there, and shoot loads more.
