Tim,
Yeah, true. But it keeps me off the streets!

I like this photo. As I waited for the page to load I saw it without the bottom of the rock and felt it was as though she were standing above the world. Losing the foreground really adds to the strength of the image. Some one else called it "other worldly" I like the reduced context, it takes the image to "another world"
If all you see is the panty line, I think you're missing the picture.

This is a small rock about the size of a walnut. I photographed it
on 8x10 film and contact printed it on Chicago Albumen's
Printing Out Paper. It was fixed and washed and toned with
Selenium toner rather than gold. The selenium gives a coffee
colored brown town to the paper which, if overdone, can be kind
of gross.
When toning POP with selenium, you must fix first and wash
thoroughly. You also have to exposed the print about a stop or
two darker than you would if you were to tone with gold.
Learned a bit more about printing, wanted to try a bit different interpretation.

Whoa. This looks just like my driveway. ODD.
I know it isn't cause there are no potholes!
I like this image and I am sure the print is beautiful. I go for the "academic" look. I think beautiful photos, like this, are uncommon.
The rating of ten for originality is the same as one in my book, as I don't believe in originality ratings. But a one seems like a put down, which I don't intend. I am not omniscient, how would I know what is original and what isn't? Conversely, it has been said that every photograph has been made already...
