I've been wondering what the big deal about Minox's 35 Model MDC was. It's been quite a long time I've seen one on eBay and if I remember that right, it was pretty expensive. Did they cost more, do they have any other specifications than the ML or anything like that?

I recently bought an older 50exp version of the Minox daylight

developing tank. When screwing out the spiral that the film is

spooled on to, I noticed that there is no groove under the place

where the film goes. I have never seen a drum like this. Might this

be an even older version? Wouldn't this make a problem for the

chemicals to be around the film on both sides?

In Germany, the WETZLAR model sells for about $50 more than the

regular one, but only if in excellent to mint condition, because

that's what collectors are interested in. I don't really think it's

worth selling the one you have and getting another one.

I ALWAYS have a IIIs in my pocket. It is just so small that you can

take it anywhere. After a while I got used to setting the speed

somewhat exactly and don't really have problems with under-,

overexposed pictures anymore. I also use a Minox 35mm flash (FC35)

with a standard PC-cord on it from time to time and get really good

results, no meter needed.

In the 'Batteries for C4 cube flash accessory'-thread, Martin mentioned that the C4 does not need precise voltage and that it would be OK with 3V. What is the real voltage now that the two V825PX had stacked up? I have found a (Varta) battery Type CR 2450 Lithium battery that is the exact same size as the 825. It's 3V a piece though (=6Volts stacked together). Will these work in the C4-flashcubeholder??
