I have Griptac in Black on my M2 and also on a couple of other cameras. I highly recommend this material.

Camera leather gave me quick service and I am considering doing an OM-1 in this material.

Personal message sent to Leo Maniace. These rolls are perforated like regular 35mm and use a standard Bulk loader and cassettes.

"I wonder if one from a cheap Industar 50mm f3.5 might work?"
I tried that, the I-22 lens I looked at was welded, fastined to the I-22 flange. The Summitar is much better machined and screws in, Not a match. I also looked at a Canon Serenar collapsible and it was machined OK but wrong screw size threads.
"I would simply contact Don Goldberg at DAG". Good tip I will get in contact with him.

Thanks for the tip David.
If anyone knows if any of the Leitz lenses infinity locks work on the Summitar and have parts / junker lenses let me know. If it would fit on my Summitar I would be interested.

I have a very clean Summitar which is missing a part. I need the part that
scews into the lens flange. I have the pin that goes through the flange but am
missing the other piece. See attached Picture.
If anyone has a Parts Summitar with this peice or can give me a tip on who might
have this part let me know.
Thanks

I shot a roll of Tri-X today at 400. The day was overcast and fairly flat light.
I developed the film in Diafine A=3 min and B=2 min. My initial reaction is the negs look a little flat. This might be good because i will scan them. They are now drying so i won't get to them until tomorrow.
Will post an update on how this goes.

Has anyone one found a current source for film ends of Eastman Double X? I would like to try using this film but I,m not sure who supplies the film.

Has anyone tryed Diafine in a Jobo processing? I am wondering since this is constant agitation and many feel Diafine needs less rather than more agitation.

Pablo,
How about a time to give as a start:
JC Pro 100 exposed as 64 and developed in Rodinal 1+100 + VitC is great.
Also how much Vit C did you use?

Also a 100 ft roll of 35mm Panatomic X if someone didn't want to buy as much. 3873045478.

Jay,
I have all the chemicals for the TEA developer except the "Pyrogallol 10g", where can you get that chemical?? Can Pryocatechol be used in your formular? I have some of that chemical.

Now that I have the film from Jeff Adler "Kodak Imagelink HQ Film", I
would like to know how others have developed this film for continious
tone. I plan on trying Diafine and would like to know what other
successes or failures others have had. What developers, times and ASA
did you use or get?
Thanks

I have used Aki-Asahi coverings for several of my cameras. They look nice. Just look through his site to see what you need to do to prepare your camera.
I was very happy with his coverings and service. Only about a week for the covers from Japan

"Agfa Copex Pan microfilm in 35mm size is still available in long rolls. It is sold as Gigabitfilm in 36 exp. rolls together with a small bottle of developer which is good for one roll. I used to use earlier versions of this film when it was sold under the H&W Control name."
Does anyone know of a source for Copex Rapid in 35mm with perferations? I know there are sources if you buy a case, but I would like to get a couple 100 ft rolls. Maybe someone has a couple rolls extra to sell, because they bought a full case.

I would like to see pictures. I've heard a lot about filing the 40 but would like to see what to file and how much.

I got a silver Sun 135mm F3.5 Telephoto with the serial #536**, in
good shape with a little dust in the lens. I tried the lens and
liked the results. My question has anyone any knowledge about the
Sun lens and the quality of it in the LTM format? It is a LTM mount
not T-mount and made in Japan.
Before I give it a serious test and maybe have it cleaned I would
like to know what kind of quality I might expect. It was a good buy
and I'm not sure if I got a good deal or paid what it was worth. I
really got it as a inexpensive way to test a 135mm on a rangefinder
camera. I can see I might use it some maybe 5% of my shooting time.
How would this 135mm Sun compare to a Russian Jupiter 135mm or a low
end Leica 135? Are we talking quality lens or junk.
Thanks

I am looking for advice or a Web site that can help me put a drain
system in a Jobo CPE plus system. I have grown tired of getting the
water out of the storage tub. I am thinking of putting a drain in
the side of the plastic tub and wondered if anyone has tips or advice.

CLA Fuji ST 901
in Classic Manual Film Cameras
Posted

I just received a Fuji ST 901 M42 electronic camera from my father in law.
I am looking for an inexpensive CLA plus adjustment of the meter if need. I have used Pentax Spotmatics and still have several Takumar lenses. This seem like a solid camera to revive my interest in the Thread mount Takumar lenses.

Also is came with a 35mm 1.9 Fuji lens which seem really nice.

Any suggestions are welcome.
