1. I would REALLY appreciate it if someone could advise me with regards

    to the following.

I will be flying to India tomorrow morning for three months. I will

be taking 35mm and mf as my main systems, but I was planning to

shoot 100 sheets of LF film.

I have a Readyload holder with a CHROME backplate. I guess it must

be a version I. I received my film today, Kodak 100 Tmax. On the

packet it says: "For best results, use film holder with a BLACK

    pressure plate."

I have no experience to date with the holder, but I have read that

    film leaks may occur.

The question is: would I be heading towards failure if I tried the

new single sheet readyloads in the old holder??? If so, I would

    leave the system at home!!

    Thanks!!!!!

  2. I have bought a Polaroid 4x5 conversion from Dean Jones in Australia and have been happy with it. I paid only 300 or 400 US at the time. Dean was quick to respond to all queries and very friendly. I am now considering getting his 6x12 conversion.

As to mr. Littman's statements concerning patent-infringements, I have been a commercial attorney-at-law for almost 8 years and I fail to see any merit in his arguments.

I am sure mr. Littman does a very good job, but he should do at the price he is asking! I think he should live and let let live others who do their own conversions of cameras which are decades old!

  3. Dear list,

I have recently acquired a (old) Jobo CPE processor. Although it all seems quite straightforward, there were no instructions included and I am a bit apprehensive about messing up the development of my films.

Could anyone provide me with some instructions / pointers? I have tried to find instructions on the web, but could find none.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Simon
