Hi all. The new R 28/90 will have 2,8 -4,5 so it's not too big but
rather expensive: ca. 3.200 Euro. The Digilux 2 will cost around 1.800
Euro.

Robert, I read about the Digilux2 in Leica Fotografie International 8/2003. About the other source (pics) I do not want to speak, but it's as I said.

Yesterday I read about he new Digilux 2 and I saw first pics: it looks
nearly like the new Minilux or a small M with a big lens (2-2,8/
equiv. 28-90) not disturbing in the body if it's off. And I saw a pic
of a new R-lens: 2,8/28-90, very interesting for all R-photographers
but rather expensiv as all good Leicalenses: more than 3.000 Euro.

Travis, nice as ever

It's a good one, I have it since years and I do not want to miss it, if the weather is bright.

If such a camera is possible doesn't matter, you have to "crop" anyway: before shooting (what we are doing now) or afterwords. The new camera would make us idle in thinking what we want and that's to bad
