  1. I learned a good trick regarding vignetting from Ron Wisner a few years ago. This will tell you if your filter or shade will vignette BEFORE you shoot any film..Open the lens diaphram all the way with your accesories attached to your lens. Then open the shutter and keep it open on bulb or "T" and look through the lens from the front of the camera. You will see the edge of the film frame in the inside. Look all around the endges all the way to the very corner of the frame. If you can see the corner, you will have no vignetting. If you cannot see the corner, you will. Just one important note. When you do this don't get clumbsy and drop the camera or worse, poke your finger through the shutter.
  2. Hi Paul. I have a Horseman 985 and a older Horseman 6.5 lens with matching cam. I once borrowed a newer Horseman 65 lens (without a cam) and tried it with my cam. It was WAY off. So I guess you could say that just because a lens reads Horseman and says "65" it does not mean that the cams will be a match.
  3. I remember that Scott (?) was the owner of Phototype Design in

Champaine,Ill. He did all sorts of custom work on Horseman 970 to VH-

R cameras. I dealt with him for some time and was always treated

with extreme courtesy. His work was of the highest professional

caliber. He adapted linhof grips to Horseman bodies and custom-

matched cams to any lens. I lost contact with him and now, when I

attempt to reach him by phone, it is a diferent number. Does anyone

know how to reach Scott? Does anyone know who can make focusing cams

for these great cameras so we can utilize all of the fine lenes that

are out there? Looking forward to hearing from you..
