me differences of rendition between 21/4 SA, 21/3,4, 21/2,8 and

21/2,8 asph. (contrast, sharpness, bokeh...)?

I love the results and the glow of my cron 35 8 elements and my cron

50 dual range: are the SA 4 and the 3,4 similar to my old lenses?

And can I use its with aperture priority without problems?

Hi all, I have to develop a Tri-X 400 pushed at 800 iso with Agfa

Rodinal. I found on the web different times and temperatures, the

most recommended is 16,5 minutes at 30° C, with Rodinal at 1/50.

Please, can you suggest me the right time and temperature?

Ciao Francesca, congratulations!!! Enjoy in your holiday with your "Ferrari" camera. If your M3 needs a CLA, there are many Leica repair in Italy: I can suggest you Sam.Ca. a Sampierdarena Genova, very expert and super reliable.

If you need some automatism, I'd suggest you the R7; if you prefer a manual camera take R6.2. Price of a mint used is around 900-1200 $.

which filter do you suggest me to have colors more warm? For BW, what

effect have yellow or orange filters on black face? Thank you.

I had the same problem some years ago with my R4 nr. 1608xxx.

Shutter stayed opened not only in A, but also in manual mode, in T and P, every 4-5 shots. Leica repair said me I had to change all electronic part and costs were more than the worth of the camera. I sold at half price and I bought a R7.

Matt, I had the same dilemma when I had to choose between M2 and M3. I bought M2 simply because 35mm is the lens I use more and I'm very satisfied of my choice. But for telephoto and portrait of course M3 is more precise and easier to focus (now for this I use R7 with 100 and 180, but it another body, another system and another money ...) In any case, before selling a mint M3 I'd think 2 times: try it again for some months to discovery her soul, then you'll decide. May be you'll save some money and you'll keep both the bodies (best solution). Best regards. Paolo

I like Ilford Delta 100 and 400, more than Tri-X. For colors I use only Fuji Reala 100 and NPH 400. Sometimes a Kodak T-Max 3200 and once a year a Kodak HIE infrared film.

I have a fantastic M2 with 35,50,90. I'd like to buy another body (M7

or M6TTL) but also in the future an ultrawide angle 21mm and a 135mm.

Please suggest me: for you is better a body 0.85 with the 135 and the

21mm with the viewfinder on M2, or the new body 0.58 with the 21mm

and the 135 with the viewfinbder on M2?

19 2.8 M asph., 180 3.4 M apo and a 35/70 2.8 R at 2.000$ (I'll buy used at 1.000$).

Mark, this spring I have been in Eritrea with my dear old M2 and 35/2, 50/2.8, 90/2.8. Camera was really handy and light, but in some situation I'd like a lens wider then 35mm and, to make portraits of islamic women, I nedeed a tele as 135 or 180. In any case, good travel at you and at your girlfriend and don't forget absolutely lightmeter (if you choose M2).

for portraits and not so heavy us the 180. What do You think about

Dear Leica-lovers, I have a 24 elmarit R but I'm not very satisfied. Pictures are not so surprising like with other Leica lenses (infact 24/2.8 is in practice a Minolta lens!). If I change (secondhand of course), I'd prefer a wider lens as 19 or 21. Can anyone suggest me about the 21/4 or 19/2.8 (new and old version)? Thank You for Your answer. Paolo
