  1. Here is a portrait I made of a young pianist, Bonnie Wagner. She is also my colleague. We just recorded a CD of the Brahms d minor Sonata + a group of short pieces. She is also my niece! We have played music together, from time to time, since she was a little girl. She turned out to be a wonderful young artist, so I'm proud and happy to have her as my collaborator in my violin recitals since the 2004-2005 season. (If I may be permitted, our first CD together has just become available on CDBaby.com )

  2. Thanks Jack. Our tickets were not bad for watching the game, but not nearly as close as I got when I made these shots. I walked toward the field. When I reached the end of the aisle, right at the field, the usher told me that I couldn't stand in the aisle, I would have to sit down. Looking to my right I saw am empty seat in the second row. I sat there and snapped away to my heart's content. Nobody minded. I was just a bit on the first base side of home plate and right by the field...close enough to lip read Chipper Jones say: "Dammit!" when he batted a strike!
  3. Atlanta Braves vs. Washington Nationals, May 14, 2006. Minolta

SRT-102, 200mm MC Tele Rokkor X, Fuji Sensia 400. As this is best

viewed in larger than 511 pixel size, I'm taking the liberty of

posting this as a link. I inherited the SRT-102 and 200mm Rokkor lens

from a relative. When my son and I went to a Braves game last Sunday,

I thought that this camera and lens would be the better tool for the

job than my M6TTL and 90mm Elmarit. It was the first and only time

    I've used the Minolta.<div>00GaAN-30021084.jpg.f25080aaadadd7b24c1eba2605a82cf6.jpg</div>
