Wow. There are some really great romanciers at photo.net. By the way: 50mm Summicron f/2
ASPH would be best but it doesn't exist yet.

You shouldn't buy v1 if you want a softer lens. It is tack sharp except at f2 where it is quite
soft. But the characteristics are very nice. It is my favourite lens, I bought it in times when it
was much cheaper and not a collectible yet.

Let's see what Another Bob's dog will think on your story.

Vivek: it is not so subtle and a classic but still valid because this guy is still walking around in
this shirt these days.

I use both of these lenses on my EOS-1Ds and can tell you that they perform very well.
Focusing can be a problem, especially with the 2/28mm wide open.

Now it looks to dark. I give up, have a nice day anyway.

That is not a binocular, that is a ugly monocular and looks like a fake.

Salu Fréderick,
I have visited that place in 2002, a very intense spot on earth. In spite of that I didn't bring
any good photographs at home from there. You were probably more successfull than I was
but I think your edition work sucks a little bit. There are some really good photographs
and some so làlà-ones which seem to be taken in a little bid a scatterbrained way. Maybe
you should eliminate the not so good ones and go again over your contact sheets.
Well, I felt free to comment...;-)

<i>"my post and the nature/quality of my pictures is no different from a million other similar
posts that you find on these forums ???"</i><br>
That is absolutely correct.

Are these parts of a Leica?

Nice! I didn't know that you have mountains in Holland;-)

Being myself an European, I never would buy from us.

Good evening Edward,
according to Dennis Laney, your lg and your lens were made in 1958.

...or lets say: 15 photographs...

Hi Graeme,
I think some editing work would improve the serie. Many photographs are just variations and
repetitions of other ones. Too many similar mountain pictures in boring light situations for
example. I would try to burn down the whole serie to maybe 30 photographs.

Composition and expression wise *1 works much better in my humble opinion.

Hi Lutz! Nothing else to do in Mumbai???;-) Best regards to Bob! Cheers, Roland

Hi Raid. And the test object will be your... daughter?

The Noctilux 1.2 IS an aspherical lens. Ever was, ever will be.

Asher, I was referring to Michael: "50mm Summilux f/1.4 ASPH 50mm Summicron f/2 ASPH
50mm f2 Summicron - gets confusing for me where in the production range is best. Perhaps
I am being too anal already!" You should read the whole thing, it is really worth it ;-)
