I just had to respond to the provia 100 F/push posting. I have also
used this film and continue to use it as my current "staple".
However, I did a side/side comparisons with provia 100F pushed 2 stops
and RMS...the RMS was superior at ISo 640. The Provia colors seemed
to wash out when pushed 2 stops. One stop push, worked great!

I have used Velvia while backpacking without problems, but if you
wish more speed, try Fuji RMS 100-1000. I've used this at 640 with
excellent results. Suggest trying new films before departure.

New to B&W shooing. Have used velvia and provia for many years. I'm
not into the developing and printing aspect of B&W (as of yet). Is
this Kodak film any good, any recommendations on filter usage. I shoot
candids and scenes. \\Thanks

I have the 0.72/M6 and will be trying out the following lenses this
weekend. 28/90 - next week 35/50. Any advice would help. Not new to
photography, but new the world of Leica.

Perhaps those with an opinion on this lens would share their thoughts.

I'm a new Leica user: M6-TTL, 28mm Elmarit, 90mmSummicron having
moved to shis stage in my life from Hassy, and Nikon F5. I still use
a Noblex MF for those "grand" shots, and a Konica Hexar for my P&S
which delives excellent results. I'v decided to lighten the load and
move to Leica. Question: Is multiple exposure possible with the
current version M6 (get it in 2-3 days) and can one use filters such
as grduated ND be used on the M6?

I actually called Fuji and asked the question "what is better; Provia
F pushed 2 stops or ISO 400 film". They said that Provia F would
likely be slightly better because the RMS is so much smaller.
Personaly, I can't seem to see a difference. Provia F pushed 1 stop
is better tha ISO 400 IMHO. All-in-all, it's hard to beat the
satisfaction one gets with Velvia. With the Leica lens, images
created with max aperatures are stu
