<p>Does anyone have an educated guess as to when the fall leaves will be at their peak in north eastern USA? I plan on spending a week or so in Vermont and western New York area. Also, where are some of the better places for fall colors?</p>

I am looking for a warm trip south in a month of two. Does anyone know anything
about the Cypress Swamps in east Texas? How about KOAs or other camp grounds
in that area. I would like to camp as close to the water as I can. I prefer
something like KOA cabins or if I can afford the gas I may take my old bus
which has been converted into a RV

All the above sugestions are good. However,do you have friends in North America? If not then try to make friends with someone here and then visit an area that they know and pick a time that they can show you around. No matter how well you do your homework you will never know it like someone who has lived there or visited it several times over several years. Between your guides knowledge of the area and your new viewpoint you should get the best pictures with the least trouble and worry.

Do you need a property release for photos of cars at a car show
inorder to sell art pictures of the cars or parts of the car?

I don't know about SF Bay area but most any Photo processor can do scanning now. Even some of the one hour shops. I will be a long ways from free. If you have it done when the film is developed and printed it should be less expensive.

Put the flash on the camera, turn it on, point, and shoot. I've found that my 645N is very good at fill flash.
