It looks compsed but it surely caches the eye.
A picture that poses a question.
I like it.
-
I am afraid it is what you think it is.
-
What's wrong with this picture ?-)

I bought it in the meantime, as well as an R8.
You're right, indeed.

Nothing, technically.

I know I'm on the right way now.

I have my (c41 color) rolls treated by Fnac. They deliver small prints as well as a CD. So, when I publish my pictures it's the large (Fnac CD) format.
Leica says after the summer they'll make a digital back:

but rumours go it will cost 4.500 Euro.

How close should one get to make a portrait?
The Summicron 90 is generally considered as the best portrait lens.
I prefer the Elmarit 135.

I don't think these can be judged as long as we pass by things like scanners or Internet(jpg).

Nice photo, but you should buy another scanner.

I like the contrast between the green and the grey.
The palm-trees have a great conversation with the arrows.
-
Try it with another lens.

Apart from the Hasselblad lenses (whitch are Leitz as well of course) there is one lens better than the Summicron 50, it is the Summilux 50.
Ok, about the best lens ever it may be the Noctilux. But it only fits the M-system.

Kodak launched the NC and VC professional film.
This picture was taken with the NC 160 and the Summicron 50 at f 16 and 1/30 second.
No filters.
I am astonished about the result. And indeed, you should see the picture in an "analog" way.

Bought an old Leica (1978). Put a modern film in it (Agfapan 100).
Took pictures of my son (Lao).

There is one lens better than the Summicron 50mm. It is the Summilux 50mm.

Still it's a strong picture. But it makes me a little bit nervous when I look better.
That's Photoshop, of course.
I'd say: avoid Photoshop if possible.
Could you post the original photo ?

Group-photo's are hard to take, aspecially in hard sunlight.
Focus on the main object that expresses your feeling about what's happening I would say.
Patience is the main thing a photographer should have in these circumstances.
