You did things right alright, you have captured the mood of the moment you were given the chance to shoot. Some people would not have even observed the simple beauty and power of this shot, sad indeed.Who knows how this picture will impact others along with your narrative. This is a powerful image and a good thing.

You had a lot to work with here.I like the shot I would have put the flowers more to either side of the frame.Perhaps shoot from a very low angle try and add more of your own flavor to the image.I would agree crop out the roof on the left. Take care.

If the image does not convey a mood or feeling it becomes a snap shot, at one level or another. This image has all the mood/feeling you could ask for.Excellent Dave.Do you ever take on outside work using your Photo Shop.? R. Crane

Judging from your snap shot portfolio I guess you decided to tap into a hot button issue. Well it did generate more comments. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Your work is a fresh breeze of real Photography. The Thoreau quote fits this perfectly.I love the subtle light on the vegetation around the tree base. I try with my Mamiya RB I think that's a big as I will ever go. How much do you feel I give up in Landscapes using medium format. Thanks

I must admit I usually take the lazy way out & not comment. But this image is powerful, loaded with mood.I feel I am there breathing the sea air and the damp wood. Great job.You gotta love Medium Format.I know I do.!

I like the blur the reflection causes. To bad there were not more leaves in the pond at the top of the frame they would add to the windswept feel.I would also crop out the rocks. Nice creative shot that imparts the mood of fall.
