2. Every one in this forum you all want to process in Xtol/Rodinal, why you don't try TMAX chemical for Tmax/Tri-X-pan. Is Tmax costly then any other chemicals? What I do - for 1 roll( Tmax 58ml + 242ml water = 300ml)at 26 degree C. Agitation every 30 seconds. Time 4 minutes 30 seconds. Before processing I wash the film with fresh water at 26 degree C.
  3. May be there are some problems in the chemicals, storage is the first priority of the chemicals. Why you don't try KODAK D-76, and in Fixer

you can make it by Hypo crystal 300gm for 1000 ml with 35gm Sodium metabie sulphite (Hypo 300gm+water 970ml +Meta:sulphite 35gm = 1000)

    this is working solution.

  4. You did't mansion which film you have exposed. In my experience I increase/decrease 20% for every push/pull process. As an example if I expose TMAX 400 into 100 iso I will make a pull process of 20%. My TMAX 400 is 5 minutes 10 second at 26 degree C . When I expose 400 into 100 iso my developing time is 4 minutes 8 seconds in TMAX developer at 26 degree. Every film is washed at normal water at 26 degree because the temperature will be the same. Agitation will be every 30 seconds.

Hope you will find you answer.

  5. Hi,

I use Tmax chemical for TMAX films. For 120 format I take 100ml chemical + 400ml water. Develope time is 5 minutes 10 seconds in 26 degree Celcius. Before starting developer wash the film with normal filtered water which is 26 degree celcius.

I don't think you don't have to worry about temperature when you print, for muligrade paper 2 minutes in 1:2 diluted chemical in ilford bromophen paper developer.

I don't know about The "Photographers Formulary" in Montana packages alternate developers for TMAX films.

  8. Hello,

I know some people in European & western photographers use infrared film. The temperature is cool not harm for infra radiation. In Bangladesh - it is humidity country.Temperature rises 68 degree F.

Some people try to use this infrared film. I also processed it in HC110 developer 6 minutes in 24 degree C. But it is foggy. Can any one

give me a time temperature for infrared 35mm film. I visited kodek infrared web site -it gives a clear vision how to expose the film with

filter. But there processing chart is not clear to me.

  9. Larry Sandt,

Good eveningI processed TMAX 400 in JOBO ATL 1000. It is fine result. I process every film from water temperature to camichel in 26 degree C .The time is 5 minute + 5% for TMAX 400. I don't know actually in what temperature you process film,I use to process in 26 degree all the year, because it is easy, can remember time and do it smothly.

Let me know if you do process in 26 degree C.Please mail me if you get my mail. And one request visit our web site, you will know about us-and how is that.

  10. Hello Bart,

I agree with every body. Before starting processing I always use a Fuji Neopan ss lead for fixer test. Take some fixer in a film container put the lead- shake for 30 seconds and watch. If the lead is clear then you are sure that your fixer is ok. Give me a mail if your

    problem is solved.

  11. Hi,holly. I think you asking for speacial effect printing in black & white. Go to your near photo dealer ask kodak screen printing effect filter. It contents 12 different kinds of effects.

I can give you another idea. Why don't you take pictures (leaves, textures of trees, clothes, designed metals )your self.

    Thank You

  12. I think you are asking liquid bleech in b&w photography. Make potasium fericyanide 25gm in 1000 cc normal water, then mix hypo 300gm in the solution -this is your stock solution. When you use take 1:2(camichel+water).This you can use in sepia toning. If your B&W prints in some area is dark you can bleach it - take a tea spun potasium fericyanide in 50ml water then give a tea spun hypo in it- mix it,then use cotton to bleach the darken area.

For film bleaching use kodak recomendad film intensifier.

  13. I will be a good idea who wants to contest their photos with other

photographers- but it will be a disadvantage if you claim a entry

fee.Don't take it other way, I am telling it because many photographers of the third world countries dont have enough money

to perticipate with entry fees. From Bangladesh I can asure you a big

    perticipation.Bangladeshi photographers looks some points-:
