Very nice shot - central placement of the tree works here, and the dark tree sets off the pastel-colored sky very well.
Lightening the foreground a little bit might be worth a try, so as to increase the overall emphasis of the dark tree - although the dark foreground and light sky do go well together.
Overall, I really like this sort of a composition - simple and elegant.

I really like it. A tight framing, IMO, would have spoiled the whole effect of the shot. As is, it is a very powerful shot.
