Another classic - Think the swan has gotta be a favorite around here......Is a nice shot especially with the swan streching it's neck out so far. Would have been even better had the wings been spread all the way out. As they say 'timing ia everything'!!

I like it also with the wings not fully spread. It gives the image of all the power of these animals, often just thought as little more than decorations.

 

The tight framing also helps to convey this message.

 

A very little thing to change would be more space to the top, but I imagine this is already a difficult shot to get, since they are quite fast in taking off.

Great captured of the motion. He is using his tail for speed. Adrenaline is flowing,if the birds have them.
