very nice baby, I also don't think God had anything to do with it...
read this; lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steale: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven (matth 6:20-21)

hi csab'józsa, the world is very small............, it was one off my two kiev 2 camera's
-
mike, i have a kiev-2 (1953) and a kiev 4am (1983)
-
since a few months i am experimenting with kiev camera's, because i
am new with kiev i started reading articles on internet, it seems
that the older models (built before 1955) are the best built camera's
but are these older camera's also good enough for daily use, or is a
newer model kiev4 or kiev4-am (overhauled or serviced) as good as a
kiev 2 model??

just received a jupiter 3 lens bought on ebay from a russian seller, it took exactly 2 months before i got the lens..............i live in the netherlands, the lens was shipped on the day the seller got his money, so nicolas, don't give up
-
"there seems to be a strong, quality group of sellers" david can you give me some names??
-
sorry for misunderstanding, the front is identical, (the lens has a kiev contax mount) the glass is coated and the lens doesn't have clickstops
-
my lens is identical to the lens on the photo but it doesn't have the little red number
-
hi nicolas, thanks for your response; the lens has a white kiev logo
-
just bought a jupiter 8 lens with lens number 0252781, what is the
year of production? i always thougt that the first two numbers
indicate the year of production (lens is for a kiev 4 camera)
-
just received a kiev 2 camera from kassiapeya, the camera is as described, good communication +++ a very good ebayer+++
-
must i change the speeds before winding the shutter or after,
i just purchased a kiev 4 camera and with most russian 35mm cameras
it is advisable to wind the film (thereby cocking the shutter) before
selecting a new shutter speed, however some people advice to change
the speeds before winding the shutter...........
-
dear people, many thanks for your response, i believe your experts...........mike i also read your article about the kiev overhaul, i am new with kiev, zeiss and jupiter lenses,
i recently purchased a kiev 4-am camera (produced in 1984) and later i heard that all soviet cameras of 40th and 50th years had much better quality because of careful manual assembly and strict quality control,
is the 2/50mm sonnar as good as the 1,5/50mm sonnar?? i will choose between these two lenses, and won't spend my money on russian lenses
-
i'd like any info about the jupiter-3 1,5/50mm or zeiss sonnar opton
1,5/50mm lens good or bad from anyone with knowledge or preferably
experience with using one,
i have a kiev camera and i can buy one of these lenses
