I have recently started photgraphing the stall holders in my local
street market. A headshot taken with my Leica M6 and Noctilux lens,
then later in the day, the stall with its stall holder with my Fuji S3
Pro. I have a folder dedicated to this and will add more photos from
time to time.

A visit to the Dan Flavin exhibition was like a trip in a spacecraft.
In this case tweaking the colours seemed appropriate

I find this picture soothing, showing as it does some stones resting in shifting sand, rather like the stones you see in a Japanese rock garden. The composition, colours ans shadows all add up to a well balanced scene.

I photographed this spectacular peacock full of the joys of spring in
Holland Park, London. the more one looks at it, the more amazing
nature appears to be in in producing such stunning detail, colour and
form.

Truly creative with great design flair. An example from an extremely impressive portfolio.

This boat caught my eye, its colour contrasting beautifully with that
of the water aided by the quality of the wintery light.

It really does look as if you caught the two together and it looks fabulous! Is it with flash?

A really great graphic shot. its sort of black and white with added ooomph

I think you have caught the wonder of a child at something outside his normal experience very well. The brightness of the light serves to underline this point well in my view. There is detail in highlights and shadows.

This bench caught my eye the other day, with the sun quite low.
Converted to Black and White and then tinted using ConvertToBW Pro 3.0
just gave it the bit of zing I liked. I hope others do to?

Very wistful - Youth remembered

A beautufully caught scene with a restricted palette of colours, razor sharp and pleasing to the eye

A massive chain on the pavement caught my eye

Taken with my Leica M6, scanned via my Epson perfection 4990 and
tweaked with shadows and highlights in Photoshop

A powerful composition, improved by the brown tone and two amazing eyes. Great use of the square format.

So simple yet so complex. Beautiful use of colour.

I photgraphed this from my roof terrace about 10 days ago when the
full moon was covered by light clouds, i combined two shots, one
exposed for the moon, the other for the coulds and then added some
airplanes that had flown over the house during the WWII commemoration
day to add to the mood. All in all what you see is what I saw in my
head at the time.
