Desert stones

A unique scene- I like it. Reminds me of the POW recently that showed the blown stone...I realize that's not what's happening here, but gives a similar effect.

Thank you for your comment. I saw the POW you mentioned and liked it a lot. The stones on my picture have also been moved by the wind (you can see the trails in the shadows behind the stones - they are small). They were still when I photographed them, though.

I find this picture soothing, showing as it does some stones resting in shifting sand, rather like the stones you see in a Japanese rock garden. The composition, colours ans shadows all add up to a well balanced scene.

Very nicely done. There is something relaxing about this photo.
