The shadows are perfect! Nicely done

Even if the original were soft, I think softness is actually needed for this photograph. The purple and green colors bother me. Can you change to grey scale and repost? I really like what you have done here.

That must have been a long exposure with the R72 and the polarizer. Usually the trees move and things look unsharp... not in this case. Nice job!
Just curious: What is the benefit of using the polarizer anyway?

Beautiful work Paul. I like the composition and there's a lot of detail in those rock formations ... Mark

Immediately caught my eye. Beautiful image and I don't mind the PS work at all. I would prefer it without the bird though -- it competes with the walker too much.

I see that Nicki-J and Golden Gate received paint jobs since I was there in 1988. For some reason, I thought I shot this harbor in Woods Hole, MA, but I guess the name "Golden Gate" sort of makes sense.

Jaap, your images always capture my attention even when surrounded by other fine images. Please keep up the good work ... Mark E (Flask)

I agree that your point of focus is correct, but I would like to have seen more DOF. The softness in the goose's feather's take away a bit from the effectiveness of the image. You may have had no choice though. It's a very good image overall ;-)

Very nice! I think that hiding the sun was a good decision and the exposure is right on. I would like to see a version that shows its true sharpness. The whitish blob near the upper right hand edge is distracting - PS can take care of that.
-
What an expression! It's great... too bad the DOF was too shallow to capture both the eyes and the nose :-(
-
The burned out highlights on the music is a little bothersome. Very creative shot though...
-
The lack of focus on the bottom bothers me. Can you crop that off? Nice image regardless...
-
What a hot head! ;-)

I photographed a similar effect with my DC4800 ;-) I think I like yours better...

How do you feel about the background? too light?
-
It's colorful ;-)
-
Please critique this image .... thanks ;-)
-
I realize that some of the highlights are burned out, but other than
that, what do you think of this one?
-
This is one of the most beautiful bird shots I have ever seen. Incredible work! Congradulations!
-
Beautiful pose! Excellent sharpness! Too much slobber though ;-)
-
This would be an excellent image if it were sharply focused. The softness really hurts it. Nice image though ...
-
Contrast is too high. Normal contrast would be better in mu opinion
-
Wow! That's a sharp image. What lens did you use?
-
There seems to be too much sky, but the tree branch and the dark cloud add depth to the image. I would try cropping off the top half of the image and see how that looks; otherwise, I would leave it alone. Very nice image Bryan ...
