Your comment goes directly to my heart, mainly because it comes from a photographer that I particularly appreciate. It helps to relativize the anonymous 3/1 rating without comment.

Fantastic dynamic portrait. The light and the colors are very good but what I like the best is the expression of happiness of this young woman.

A masterpiece for light color and composition. Congratulations

Exactly the kind of shots I love. Congratulations

I totally agree with Agnieszka. This is a very good natural portrait. The light, the way Magdalena holds her hair, the short DOL, everything works ... except the white triangle. In argentic B&W, it's easy to over expose the print to find "materials" in the whites. But when a part is over exposed in digital ... there's not a lot to do, even with PS.

Hassan, I'm sorry but it wasn't possible to use a higher speed, in this particular conditions. At f2,8 the background would have been out of focus for a speed of 1/10, and 3200 ISO is the higher sensibility of the EOS . So ... it is what it is with its imperfections and for me it enforces the mysterious mood.

Derviche prayer at night in Mansouriya, the fantastic house of one of my friend in Allepo -
Syria- (1/5s-f4,5-3200 ISO). Of course NO FLASH, just available light.

Another very good shot. As far as I'm concerned to improve it, I would crop 1/10 at the right and at the bottom (to put the miror in the right angle). Then, in the darkroom I would lighter the face of the barber and darken in a half circle the lower part to focus the glance on the upper left corner. Regards.

I perfectly share the opinion of Bruno. This is your masterpiece. Congratulations

Excellent point of view that makes the difference with a "tourist snapshot". About the sky, what I would like to add, coming out from my personal experience, is that your problem isn't photoshop but the scanning. The Dmax of the best scanner I know isn't enough strong to find materials in the blacks of a contrasted negative B&W film. So the only way to change this is ... practice of traditional darkroom and scan of the argentic print. But please don't add an artificial sky !!!!
Best regards.

As you asked me I had a look to your folders trying to choose my favorite photo. I finally choose this one. The effect of moving water is very well done and the composition is good with different plans leading the glance to the sky. Perfect.

Very good shot. Well composed, not too posed and what a fantastic balance of color. You can be proud of it.

Absolutely fabulous Miguel ! As a personal taste I would have chosen a square framing cutting the lower part.

I particularly love the light and the contrast between the boat very clear and bridge in the fog. Best regards

Amicalement.

Once more a very good one. Just a little regret for the accentuation of light on the legs, which creates artfacts with Jpeg compression.
Best regards.
