Bloddy awesome work! Gave me an idea for a shoot, hope you don?t mind me being inspired by this photo, am going to try something similar sometime and most definately am going to give you credit for the idea. Keep it up!

Well you always knew what I thought about this photo, 7/7 from me easily :)

60 second exposure, painted the waterfall with light using a powerful
flashlight.

Any comments and ratings appreciated. I normally have very tough skin
when it comes to critiques though but this is a photo of my wife so I
would appreciate it if you have something negative to say about her
that you keep it to yourself but if you want to critizise the
photography itself, Im all ears :)

Since a couple of you ask how this image was taken, here it is :)
Camera settings were 30 seconds, f2.0 and iso 1600. Image was then darkened in raw processing stage. Scene is totally low contrast so I had to do a curves adjustment on the sky and foreground seperatly, very slight dodge/burning and that?s it.
I put some more info over at DPC since this was entered in a challenge over there, here is the link -> http://www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=429294
No photo manipulation other than the essential basic "digital darkroom" really. Stars are authentic, neither added or took away a single one.
Thanx for all the comments guys, I really appreciate them, this is one of my favorite images of last year!

Pretty good shot, well lit and dig the makeup work, very believable.

Please view it "larger" as there as this version has some ugly
artefacting going on in it. Cheers!

Wow, extremely cool, have never thought of taking a night time shot of a geyser, this absolutely works, love the composition. 7/7

VERY nice, I don?t think it?s going to be long till Fuji calls you up and dubs you the king of Velvia. 7/7, absolutlely nothing I dislike about the shot.

Can?t add anything that hasn?t been said before but say that I gave it a 7/7, I think that says it all. Keep up the good work.

Awesome shot, one of your best. This is fantastic, love the purple colour tint.
Dont get me wrong but I am also very glad to see you do something different than your excellent wide angle shots. 7/7
