  1. http://www.lastolite.com/ under "backround" and then "collapsible"

I am thinking of getting one of these since I don?t have a studio.

Right now I am mostly using a combination of available light, bounced

550ex and a 420ex as a slave and of course I am going to get

something better but right now the backround is the most important

    thing.

The question is how do you suspend this, just from nails in the

cealing or? I want a way to take it with me, make it very portable

but the local camera shop doesn?t have anything that will work, that

is suspend it from at least 2 meters height (7 feet for you not using

    the metric system)

Also if anyone has any experience with these backrounds I would be

    glad if you shared it.

  2. Yup, actually lived in Sweden for 6 years when I was a kid so I still speak it allright and should be quick to get back on track and as you know Norweginan/Danish/Swedish are very similar so I don?t see a language barrier.

Thanx for the links, very helpful. Any personal experience with any of these schools?

  3. I am seriously planning to study photography and Sweden or Denmark

are the easiest choices because I live in Iceland. I am however

starting my research and I was hoping someone here could help. The

plan is to start in the fall of 2006. These two countries are most

appealing but of course I am open to other suggestions. My wife

however is going to study at the same time and has found schools she

likes in these two countries, she is however going into Buisness

    Management.

I am not trying to start a digital vs. film debate but as far as I am

concerned, film is dying and I can?t see a reason for me to study it

so I am preferrably looking for a school that would teach not only

photography techniques but also some form of "photoshopping" if you

    know what I mean.

  4. I might be able to point you in the right direction about the manual online. I found the 10D manual on http://www.powershot.com so I tried finding the rebel 2000 manual on there but I couldn´t but... If you click here http://www.usa.canon.com/html/cameras_slr/eosreb2.html and email tech support they probably have a adobe version of the manual they could email to you or they could help you out with your problem some other way.

Hope I could help a little!

  5. Well, I´m no expert but I got the same package as you, the 10D and the BG-ED3 battery pack and it fits like a glove, maybe yours is a defective one?

Anyway I just took off the door on the battery compartment on the camera, slided the battery grip "thingy" (sorry, english not first language) into the battery compartment on the 10D. The screw then fitted straight into the tripod mount and I turned the dial on the battery grip and the two have not come apart since then.
