According to kodak.com all speeds of Supra have been discontined. It

looks like Porta will be the only professional film left in a few

more years. You like a film and then it's gone with no direct

replacement. Does this make you want to go digital?

I thought lacquer was made from lac which comes from a bug.

Why are there no C-mount digital cameras? There are plenty of C-

mount lenses floating around and the focal lengths would seem to be

ideal for the current crop of digital senosrs. There was even a

version of the Canon f0.95 lens with no rangefinder coupling and a C-

mount adapter. All I could find on the net are tethered microscope

cameras and possibly a modified Olympus although details were sketchy

on page I was viewing. Is anybody interested in a C-mount digital

camera?

I contacted Leica USA via e-mail and they responded quickly. I am now waiting for a follow-up with the local sales rep.

Does anyone know how to become a Leica dealer? Their web site isn't

very helpful. Is it possible they are not intersted in dealers?
