How did you connect the telescope to the camera. Is there an attachment you can buy? Nice photo. Good to see Chilenos making nice photos. I was originally born there ;)

If you are going to put photos up for critique you should be able to accept a low rating once in a while. Everybody's opinion is different. They may just not have felt compelled to give a reason for their low rating.
  1. This picture is a good idea but I believe the inherent qualities of digital sensors hurts this subject. The dynamic range in film would have helped out in realizing more details in the dark areas and clearing up the hot areas.

Of course you could always use photoshop and dodge and burn too, but i'm not too sure how much more information you would be able to get.

The picture has nice warm colors but it is hard to figure out what we're looking at. Also the picture could have been cropped a little closer so we can see more detail.

In my painting courses the professor would always get mad at anyone who would just concentrate on the single subject, such as a still life or model. He would always stress the importance of painting the surrounding environment. This picture would definately improve if we were given a few clues on the environment it exists in. This could be accomplished with possibly a very long exposure, or multiple exposure (One at dusk and one at night).

I've never been a big fan of leaving the shoes on a naked person. Especially high heels. I like the picture a lot though. I'm sure your creativity can figure out how to get the muscle flexing in her legs without having to resort to wearing shoes.

Great arm positioning. I'm not a big fan of the head being cropped on this photo though. I understand that when objects are pushed to the edges they can create islands of negative space. The left side is nice, but the right isn't that great. Maybe if you crop just right to the top of the head you would be able to convey the message that she's fitting into the frame, by moving her head down, and also creating negative spaces. Again, the model is preternaturally pretty. wow.

Nice perspective distortion. I agree with previous comment about her right hand being in an unnatural position. Good energy and pretty model. A bit too nyc/trendy for me though.
  2. The piece of artwork is very original, but the photo of it is lacking in several respects. 1) Very little color contrast. 2) Uninteresting angle. 3) the crop is boring. 4) The sky is bland.

Please take another photo of this very potentially interesting sculpture.

Concerning the meaning of the title, "interface", is obvious, but the numbers afterwards left me dumbfounded. - Just to clear up what I meant.

The painter is Jan VerMeer. He's considered one of the, if not the top, best painters in the history of Western art. The title doesn't mean anything to me and I would not want to waste any time researching it for the fact that you did not know who the painter was leading me to believe that not too much thought was put into the title.

I think the photo is good though! Intriguing.
