eastward 0 Posted August 10, 2004 Excellent work, especially the contrast between fore- and background. Link to comment
kent_tolley2 0 Posted August 10, 2004 Takes your breath away. Her beauty. Your rendering of it. All in a beautifully seen oof background. I love the way you place people in the frame. It's continually new and fresh and always original. Link to comment
toja.com 0 Posted August 10, 2004 It was Taken with my Hassie 500c and an 80mm plannar lens. Shot at 2.8 with a red filter. I used an Fp4 125 film that I shot at 100ISO. Link to comment
jeremy_smith 0 Posted August 10, 2004 Amazing- what is the weird whitish line going diagonally across, though? Link to comment
marcus carlsson 0 Posted August 10, 2004 As always you produce wonderful art and this is just another great photo of yours. I love the composition and the short DOF. But the tones is what makes this image perfect. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
kent_tolley2 0 Posted August 10, 2004 I think I've figured out what extraordinary talent you have and it is the amount of respect you have for your subject. The creamy marble-like texture you've captured in her skin is exquisite. She is beautiful. But I think you go to extremes, out of respect, to capture all of that beauty. You don't leave any of it uncaptured. You cannot honor beauty more highly. And I think beauty smiles on you in return. Link to comment
jay_dixon 0 Posted August 11, 2004 I like the composition. The mood of the image is also excellent. The tonal range seems compressed or somehow a little flat. Some of your images strike me with outstanding contrast and tone, others have this flat feel. I do think the diagonal of the water was a nice touch. Link to comment
Timo Hartikainen 556 Posted August 11, 2004 Beautiful. Your lens/large film format makes the background very smooth. Link to comment
igor_fridman 0 Posted August 12, 2004 Very imaginative and beautiful. I wish her right hand was in better focus and her eyes just a bit brighter. Link to comment
