Interesting and original. What was the location, baloon, plane?
Cheers,

Thanks in advance for the comments.

Koos, thanks for the comment - you are quite right, the setting sun warming the white petals a little bit too much. Again, very helpful note, cheers!

Paul, not much to be said except from a technical point of view: ISO 200, f11, 1/180. The rest is chance and nature.

Cropped&duotoned. Better, worse?
Thanks,

Hi Alan! It's not far from Charles' Bridge, near the National Library and old astronomical lookout tower. (different from the astronomical clock in the townhall building)
Cheers!

To me, a striking photo. And well done.

Matthew: the processing of this picture went like the following. In the original scene, the wall was yellow and the pavement almost colorless due the the cloudy weather. I loaded the image in PS, shifted the hue slider until the wall became blue and the ground a very sligh red, then I completely desaturated the red from the image. That's all! Cheers,

Thanks everyone for the comments. If you have time, please take a look at the cropped&duotoned version at http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=1653821 and let me know what you think.

Remarkable, but I too go with the "maybe too dark" gang. Still, an excellent capture!
