Great photograph. I love the depiction of rotting ruin and the awesome array of color. I would also like to know what, if any, work was done in the digital darkroom.

Probably an hour before, or an hour earlier, that sun was where you really needed it...

Another nice angle of a frequent subject. I hate to kvetch, but the color is too magenta for my taste. I realize that's probably what you were going for, but I'm a bit of an "as is" kinda guy. While there is nothing wrong with post production tweaking, I think there is something to be said for capturing things as they are, particularly when the natural colors are as awesome as they are at Slot Canyons.

A gorgeous photograph. Excellent color and clarity. I think I would have cropped out the structure in the extreme lower left; it doesn't add anything and the shot would be...neater and tighter without it.

Beautiful shot. I don't know if I agree with the other viewer who thought the "white reflection" on the water of the clouds is distracting, but it can probably be removed in Photoshop, perhaps using the Cloning Tool, if you wish. Still, nice job.

Great composition, great light. Conveys a thoughtful and serene moment...

How cool would this shot have been without that DIGUSTING graffitti? Round those people up and shoot 'em! You might want it in there, but I would take it out in PhotoShop. It's also a bit grainy and the person behind the pinky is distracting; it would have been nice if he'd been strolling through...

There was a waterfall?
Soft, sexy, beautiful.

What an AWESOME time of year to catch that beautiful and classic example of home/art.

Nice, but way too BIG!

Beautiful scene, captured well. Great color.

Beautiful scenen, beautiful model, excellent composition. I agree with Bob, however...

While I'd much rather critique than criticize, I have to say that there are some subjects that just don't seem all that appropriate, such as, for instance, dead chicken butts.

I was going to say that I like the shot, very much, and I like what I thought was done to it in the digital darkroom. Then I read your comments that it was natural light and no further enhancement. I'm curious, where did the light upon the rocks come from and is it my imgagination, or is there a dark (black) border around the center tree and far right tree?

Too big.

Really nice shot. I also shot the Red, White and Blue Empire State Building just a few weeks before you did. Yours is more like the shot I would have tried for if I'd had a LOT more lens! The clarity and proximity of your shot is amazing and all the more so considering it appears you used a digital camera. Awesome.

Great color.

Oooh. THAT'S gonna hurt! Nice shot.

Awesome color, light and composition. In this modern age of the digital darkroom, when I see colors (as in the river reflection) that are just too perfect, I have to ask: is it more or less "as is," or was there significant editing? Either way, it's a fantastic shot; I'd just like to know.

Color is king. Nice job.

Amazing detail in a digital image. It seems "more" than real.

A lot of folks might criticize centering the subject, but I like the symmetry. I would sharpen up the colors and repair the horizon - it is a few degrees counterclockwise.
