paul_schaugaard 0 Posted March 6, 2002 Excellent shot. Sharp, good color, all riders are in focus. plus you caught them all in the air off the start. Most excellent !! Link to comment
jeff greene 0 Posted March 6, 2002 Great action shot, colour saturation is really good. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 7, 2002 much as i hate the x-games for bastardizing my sport and labelling it "extreme" (god i hate that word), this is an excellent photo. perfectly timed, perfectly exposed, strong vivid colours, nice white snow, perfect motion capture. only bad thing - distractive people in the background. its good that there are no corporate advertising banners in the background because they ruin photos. so nice one. proggie 0 Posted March 7, 2002 Toyota!! :) Love how lined up they are, and how sharp they all are while the background is blurred. Great depth of field. It's almost as if you cut and pated each rider into the blurry background. Well done! Link to comment
tak_ming_leung 0 Posted March 7, 2002 Stunning shot! I wonder who won the race! Focus is spot-on! Color is rich! Lighting couldn't have been more effective! Facial expressions add to drama! Spectators have nice details! Link to comment
dean_fleischman 0 Posted March 7, 2002 I love it! Great timing, great color, great action. Link to comment
demetri_p. 0 Posted March 19, 2002 Did you have to crop any? Maybe the riders could have been a little higher with a tad more snow showing under them. Still, a outstanding, striking photograph! (9/9) Link to comment
regular tim 0 Posted March 20, 2002 God I love the X Games. Who ever thought someone could sell ice climbing to the public. And snowmobiling... hell I feel like I'm back in Vermont ;-) I kind of like the spectators. The PS'ed version feels lifeless and dead. This was a spectator sporting event -- you wouldn't feel strange seeing a picture of Roger Clemens throwing heat in front of 70,000 empty seats would you? Terrific color saturation and motion stopping. Link to comment
mike h 0 Posted March 25, 2002 Perfect timing... Great job freezing the action. Do you recall what your shutter speed was set to? Link to comment
