1.
Just came back from a trip to Guatemala and Mexico.Although I have many cameras I took only a beaten F1 with 3 old lenses 50mm/1.8,24mm/2.8 and 135mm/2.5 all S.C lenses.Scanned few pictures last night. Here they are exactly as they came out from the scans

00UywP-189517884.JPG.6914f3f81ad51c33b604c1a54ce73ed7.JPG

 2.
Hi.
I have some small collection of manual focus cameras espexially medium format and Canon FD.My first camera however was a small Minolta Maxxum 5 with just one lens the 50mm 1.4. I sold it when I had some tough times.
I would like to buy few primes and some AF body for sentimental reasons as well as photograhic reasons. My best pictures were created with that little guy.
I was thinking about a Maxxum 7 together with a 50mm/1.4,a 85mm/1.4 and a 24mm/2.8.Don't have too much experience with them except of course the 50mm.
Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.Regards,
3.
Hi.This is actually not a question but rather just want to post some pictures.I want to thank people here introducing me to these wonderful little guys.As I promised in some other forum question here are my pictures taken with the new acquired collection of FD lenses.Regards and I will be very very happy if more pictures are posted.

00UrL4-184297584.JPG.730f2718e2715df7e3f88fcaef17133c.JPG

 4.
Thank you all for the advices.Alan : it was like I was reading a history book. Kayam :thank you so much for the body suggestions.Mark:amazingly after I read your suggested SSC lenses I start looking for them.
I don't believe that I looked more than 5 minutes and saw one guy who was selling all of them (except the 55mm ASP) together with two F1's(one new one old) ,a Canon FD book, three more lenses not in the list, screens, etc. All mint for a mere 400.Of course I snapped it.Somebody out there really want me to shoot with these guys

 5.
Hi.
Got into the FD system by accident. One night I had an impulse and bought in an auction a T90 serviced with 4-5 lenses.
I liked them so much and the pictures came out so great that I bought last month everything from 7.5 to 300 .
I bought the black new FD lenses as the seller told me that is what I need for my T90.
I saw that there are SSC lenses prior to these ones.My question is :are there any optical differences between them(meaning the optics changed in the same focal length). And what other (maybe) only SSC lenses are not perpetuated to the new nFD and are worth it.
Also which other body should I buy eventually for the SSC lenses?I am enjpying them beyond words.I take one with me every day in New York City and shoot before and after work.
Thank you,
6.
Douglas,I was referring to the limited lenses for digital which I intended to purchase.Probably I was not very clear,I am sorry. All the advices converged to one conlusion so I just ordered a K7 with two limited for digital(the macro 35 and the 15) plus the wide zoom 12-24.I just liked how small and gorgeous they were.I kept all my Canons .
Lindy, the best by far is the 300mm/f4 lens for 645.Thts is better than my Canons by a huge margin. However I like it the best on its natural father the 645N.It is nothing like it.
I cannot replicate anything in digital of what I get with this 300mm lens and Provia. The same is valid for the 33-55 zoom for 645.
I am also a collector and I love to repair old cameras.I started by accident finding one old Leica in a dumpster.Had no money to send it somewhere so I did it myself after months of research and tries.
With Pentax I was always in love with Spotmatics(have quite a few) not so much with the K mount.Until i got these AF lenses few weeks ago.I will post some pictures soon from NY and Kodak Tmax.
Thank you for all the great advices(even I got scolded sometimes)

 7.
Maria I was referring to the other lenses made specially for digital APS.
Richard I do shoot almost every day before and after work in New York City.I just take a different little guy with me every time when their turn comes.Still prefer film for some reason.

 8.
A few weeks ago I had the luck to get almost for free the set of 31,43,77 limited lenses and a MZ-S body in new condition. At that time I was asking here about some suggestions of a wide lens and a backup body.I aquired the 20-35/f4 and a 50mm/1.4 FA lenses as suggested.I liked them so much that I am thinking now to sell my complete Canon AF lineup (a 5D Mark II and twenty lenses) for a K7 and a bunch of Pentax lenses(the limited for digital plus some good zooms).I have also the Pentax 645 and the Pentax 67 with 5-6 lenses each so maybe is a good idea to have all from one brand...
The only reasons I am still thinking are:I got spoiled with full frame and the great performance in low light and second the possibility that Pentax will make a full frame which will render all these beautiful little guys useless.
I checked them all in New York City including the K7 .They are small and gorgeous.Do you think the move is worth it or I am just being silly?I have to admit that I am not a professional ,just like cameras especially old ones.
Regards,
9.
Amazing advices ,thank you.The currency used in my previous post was USD indeed -:).In the meantime here is my first attempt with the 43 wide open and Kodak Tmax. I processed the film myself and scanned home on a Nikon Coolscan.
Lucky to have my daughter modeling for me.

00UZ0z-175115684.JPG.26d40f18ab2dc7bef50624cc86348976.JPG

 10.
Thank you for all the answers.Yes I was looking for a slightly longer lens (around 135) and something wider than 24.Since I am impulsive I took Nick's advice and jumped on a 20-35/f4 last night. The 120mm looked the cutest to me (sorry for my no so objective criteria). For a body I don't know yet but I will look for a MZ-6.
Andrew almost nothing meant 350 for the set, don't know exactly how much they are.I will take one today for a Manhattan afternoon.
Cheers

 11.
I have been fortunate to get a set of the Pentax FA limited lenses 31mm,43mm and 77m in new condition together with a 85mm/f2 M lens and a MZ-S body.Somebody left the country and gave them to me for almost nothing.

I have an impressive collection of Canon FD lenses but I was just very very surprised by the construction quality of these little guys.Didn't try them yet.

I was wondering if you can suggest a good ultra wide lens and a portrait one to complement the setup and another AF body as backup.

Bets regards
