Guy, Just for background I have 20+ years exp in the const.
remodeling bus. and a growing wedding and portrait bus.And I
have done some of my own dev. and printing .The plastic coated
layin tiles are the way to go since the vibration from the floor
above will drop particles.Hope this helps. Toney

After an exhaustive search 3 years ago I decided the A2 was the
best 35mm camera for the money you could buy.For a lot of the
same reasons you gave. After doing wedding work (for money)
and high school sports (for fun) I thought I would upgrade to
something more "professional" and use the A2 as a second
body...well after going through the options ,digital and film......I
bought another A2.

I am a pro wedding and portrait photog who just bought a CLE
for something small to get journilistic style quick B&W
shots.Lens selection is overwelming as I am out of my element.
Looking at a 40mm f2 sumicron. Would like to stay with one lens
if poss. Any comments or sug. would be great.
Mamiya 645 AFD - Basic Flash for wedding
in Medium Format
Posted
I use a Metz 45CL4 on a bracket above the camera because I
can put 6 nimh batteries in the flash (I HATE external batt packs)
and rarely have to change them. Maybe once on A long day with a
lot of family shots.I like to shoot manual on the camera and the
flash since most everything is shot at either f5.6 or 8 .It is very
consistant , unlike the 550 and 10D I use for PJ . The Mamiya is
used mostly on the tripod so the weight is not a problem.
