much thanks for your commments and ratings. i wouldn't mind the low stabs so much, if like Kevin said, there was an explanation for it. when one does that i can only assume the image is either offensive or distasteful to them in some way, which is fine with me, too...but then you're really basing the rating on personal preference, and not really it's aesthetics or originality. the first person with the 2/1 obviously doesn't like this vein of work, based on their own images. the 1/1 rater doesn't even have any images up. i guess i also could have put a minor warning on the title, too. expecting an image related to say, dancing, and then getting a nice butt in your face might no go over so well, ahahah.

  1. nice shot, color is bangin'. i digs the composition, but i'm thinking it could be strengthened by being closer to the two central tanks, centering them a little more, and having them more to the edges of your frame. but i really, really like this one.

  2. at first the cropping of the feet struck me as very unappealing...but then i realized that was just the not thinking outside of the box, stay within the lines, rule following part of me thinking. i really like this shot. very strong composition, and i actually think it would lose strength in showing the feet, in this case. i personally, think it works. nice tone, too.

  3. i like this shot, but i kinda question my reasoning. i'm not sure if i would feel the same way if the subject were different, more specifically...not an attractive female. i mean, honestly, if i posted a similar shot of myself i highly doubt it would get 50+ ratings and 20+ comments on how good it is.

    that said...again, nice shot! :P

okay, you kinda got me there. but hey, i just upgraded to the A2, which i picked up used. 'fore that was just me and my ol' rebel...like from when they had the agassi commercials, hah. thanks for the words...and i'm trying to shed the defense mechanism. :)

    i think you've coined a new genre. rock n' roll photography! \m/

for me, nothing short of perfect. night shots are, from my experience, quite difficult to capture just right, but you've done that here. lighting is excellent, detail of the models, yet not killing the mood. DOF is just money, i think the soft girl right before the background fuzzes is perfect. composition and perspective is tops.
