Light is too flat. Try again near sunrise or sunset. Also, I can see the seams -- can you smooth them a little?

Doesn't convey much to me, it just looks like a street. What is it about the street or the season that you're trying to communicate? It needs some center of attention for the eye to rest on.

It's very flat, doesn't give me a sense of a three-dimensional structure. The three shapes are good as an abstract composition but I'm not sure I like having the one in the middle be such a bright white -- the focus of interest should be in the left center where the three shapes draw near, but instead the two big bright lobes of the middle shape draw my eye away from there and out of the image.

I like the lighting of the grammaphone and the background room, and the general composition. I'm not so sure about the completely featureless window, or of the placement of the piano so that its center of interest (middle of the keyboard) is exactly the part blocked by the horn.

I like the normal color version better, it is less gimmicky and doesn't divert so much attention away from the nice composition and interesting distorted shapes of the buildings.

Composition is too static and I don't like the blown-out foreground, but the pose is wonderful. It makes a great counterpoint to all those artistic nudes posted here.

I don't know, the amazing part about this is the way it looks like a painting. But my initial reaction to the actual image is that it somehow looks just like those awful saccharine Thomas Kinkade prints.

That looks like the pier on the Balboa Peninsula, not on the island.
