  1. I like this shot from the aspect of the two track workers looking on, however, there needs to be more room on the left of the photo. your spacing on the right and bottom is ok, but I'd like to see this shot again with some space on the left. Good focus, great color, good way to capture Michael loooking to the exit of the hairpin...

Looks like ol Rubino had a bit of a push going into the hairpin! I agree with the previous comments, I'd only add that there needs to be some more space at the bottom and the right. you've left lots of room where Rubens is looking to the exit, but now his car needs somewhere to go at the bottom of the photo...

    Thanks Ruben,

I really wish I could have spent more time (and I wish it hadn't been raining most of the time I was there!). This guy looked like he'd seen a hard life. This may be evidence that life on a deserted tropical island isn't what it's cracked up to be!

My third crack at shooting the Champ Cars. Would like feed back from

anyone who shoots motorsports. This photo was taken at the high

speed, sweeping left hander at Mid-Ohio. Tech Detail, f20 @ 1/160

Recently visited Fanning Island (1000 miles South of Hawaii), found

this guy and just could not get over all the detail in his face, from

his nose and teeth, to his swollen left jaw (no dentists on this

Island) I see something new each time I look at the shot. Amazing

    man.

I know it's hard to go wrong with eyes like these, but I'm trying to

figure out the best way to expose for animals like this with light

fur and dark eyes. Any helpful comments would be appreciated!

Chris, I like your shot, though you might apply a lesson I learned at fontana a few weeks ago, try tilting the camera a hair to the right or left when you take the shot. for some reason it makes the shot more dramatic. Nice access.
  2. Justin, that is a great shot. To someone who isn't interested in racing, they might say, well, two cars, so what. But in the context of the situation at Surfers Paradise, this shot only gains in value. I think my only desire would be to see a little more space on the right side of de Matta and the left side of Junqueria. In a race that didn't have many good moments, this certainly captures one of the best! Good job!

First, you are a very lucky man to be getting the locations you have for all your F1 photos. Please hook a US F1 fan up. Second, excellent color, but it is too bad you cropped the right front of JPMs car, my eye is looking for that to complete the shot.
