Fallen over in a hurricane.

The abandoned swimming pools in Saint Bernard Parish have becom
mosquito hatcheries. With no one caring for these large pools of
stagnant water eight months after their owners were driven away by
the floods of 2005, the neighborhood and it's few residents are
facing yet another dangerous threat. There is widestread
destruction and there is no sign of recovery.

A home serves as a billboard with personal updates.

Eight months after Katrina and still, thousands of cars litter huge
areas of the city. There is no one collecting them. People feel
abandoned and forgotten.

Eight months after flood waters destroyed homes and lives in the
Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans there is still no clean up underway,
much less the promised 'rebuilding'. No matter what becomes of the
neighborhood, should we not at least be cleaning up the ruins?

Luther Kent was performing at the Old Point on the West Bank in
Algiers. I met my old friend there to catch up and remember old
times. Most likely, this ramshakle place was washed away with the
rest of the neighborhood.

I like the arrangement and colors. If you are curious, I made
