Your comment rings with ignorance and poor humor.
The Senior Thesis in question was a project that my High School made all seniors complete, in place of taking final exams. I choose to have my Senior Thesis involve photography. All of the photos in this folder are black and white because our darkroom was only black and white capable. As you might or might not know, developing and exposing color photograph's requires more complex and expensive equipment than is needed for black and white work. I think you would be hard pressed to find many High Schools with color capable darkrooms. I worked on my project by myself, and that was what was available to me.
p.s. If you would have taken the time to look at some of my other folders, you would have seen color photographs. By your reasoning, I must have taken those photographs my freshman year.

My first submission for critique. I have often debated in my mind
where this photo should be cropped. If I were to get this
enlarged right now, I would probably bring the top down to just
above the highest tree on the right side of the photo (to help with
the closed in atmosphere), and leave the bottom and sides
where they are. But I think the photo could be helped in a way by
bringing the bottom side up to just below where the rock in the
foreground hits the water. The disadvantage of this would be
that the unique foam swirls at the bottom left would be lost. If
you would like, let me know what you think about the cropping
and and the photograph as a whole. Thanks!
