Good composition, beautiful colours, just a little more depth of field needed. (To get that foreground rock in sharp focus.)

Wonderful weather for photography, and an excellent viewpoint and composition. I love it.

Excellently captured cloudscape. If anything there is too much going on in the picture, with the sea plus shore landscape, the storm, and several different sky tones. It was too good a scene to pass up, but there is something unsatisfying about it as an image.

Gorgeous colours, and I love the way the tree within its bright oval echoes the smaller design of the rock and treetrunk reflection. The whole thing comes together very well as a composition, plus there is a lot of interesting detail to enjoy. Very good shot, wish I'd done it.

Wonderful image. Almost abstract in its composition but very interesting and involving.

The minimalist composition is wonderful but I can't bring myself to like the colors.
-
Good positioning for the main subjects. I would crop a tiny bit from the right-hand side. Nice out-of-focus areas. Making two main subjects is more unconventional but I think it works. The extra out-of-focus flower heads round the right-hand flower make a difference. The exposure is right on. A peaceful image.

I find the darkness around the building and the right foreground a little too dark for my taste. The composition is excellent and I like the quality of the light. I know it's tricky to expose scenes like this, but I find the result here doesn't quite work.

A nice, interesting image. The bicycle is very good, and sort of pins it all together for me. The exposure has worked just right. Sorry to be picky, but I think it would be better if you cropped out the top so as to lose that bit of sky.
-
A surprising image. The scan here on photo.net is fuzzy so the texture of the shovel surfaces does not show well. I think that's the key to the success of the image. I'm assuming you got some good detail in the original neg.

I love the color. The sky is wonderful. I think a crop with less foreground would be slightly better. Good use of photoshopping.

This works very well. The color contrast between the arch and the background is very effective. The placement of the man seems not quite right - I think the shot would have been better with the man under the arch. I know it's difficult to capture the exact moment. Anyway - good image.

I think in an image like this, with no single strong subject, the attraction has to be in the detail. Unfortunately the overall appearance is of soft focus (is this the original pic or the scan?), so we don't get the detail.
Also the path doesn't stand out from the grass. I think a shot later in the day, when shadows are stronger, might have accentuated the border of the path.
With this type of shot, consider finding a focal point to hang the shot round - it could be a person, or an odd shaped rock or tree. Just something to draw the eye.
Finally, don't be put off by this largely negative critique. I can see something in your picture and I like it. You could just get more out of the scene by applying some technique. Good luck with your shooting.

Maurizio, the image that you have uploaded is too big. When I managed to view it, I found that it was a little soft, but the composition is good. Unfortunately the contrast is too great but I realise you couldn't use fill flash in this case. An interesting image nonetheless.

The basic composition, leading the eye up the stairway, works well. I would have liked more brightness and detail in the foreground. The question of a crop is difficult - I like the X-Pan format and you lose that if you crop off one end. Anyway, I think there is enough interest in the foreground to keep it. Nice shot - I like seeing the X-Pan used for vertical shots.

Marvellous dynamic feel to it. The shutter speed for the falling water is just right. Perhaps a little underexposed.
-
Excellent colors but I am bothered by the symmetry. I think an asymmetric composition would look more effective.
-
This kind of thing is hard to pull off and I think here the black vertical line roughly central has divided the image too strongly in two.
-
I think it would be stronger if you cropped in closer on the cat. The big dark mass at the top is indistinct and doesn't add anything to the image - rather, it distracts slightly. The cat looks a bit wooden and it would have been better if it had either been looking at the camera or doing something (e.g.washing).
-
Could this be improved by cropping out a lot of the sky? Any other
suggestions/critiques welcome. Also your rating (just out of
interest).

Odd color casts can be expected with IR "color" film, so no surprises there. It's a fish-eye view of a building, with the effect of that "thing" across the top (whatever it is) making it more of an abstract image. It's nice, but not the kind of thing I'd hang on my wall.
-
Very effective composition. I'd like to know the shutter speed.

I don't think a swan can be kitsch. This is a nice restful image and the leaves add a good color contrast. A different viewpoint or a longer lens might have pulled the swan and the leaves closer together and I would like to see that. Also that dead leaf above the swan's head is a distraction.
