  1. <p>I've more or less made up my mind to get the Oly 45mm for my E-PL3, and I've been reading the reviews. One guy says that an ND8 filter is an essential accessory if you want to exploit the f1.8 aperture in good light. I can see the rationale behind this, since the base ISO on the E-PL3 is 200. There was a brief mention of it in an old thread here, but no real discussion.<br> I realise that it's going to depend on when, where and how you take your pictures, but I wonder if some users here can give me some practical feedback. Do you have an ND filter for the lens? Is it the ND8 (3 stops)? And is it useful? </p>

  5. <p>I'm not convinced about the usefulness of a f1.8 aperture on a fisheye, particularly when it comes with that price tag. I have the Samyang 7.5mm f3.5 and I never find myself wishing for an extra stop of speed (or wishing I had paid 1000 bucks for it).</p>
