How would "aperture priority" with a fixed speed of 1/250 differ from manual?

I thought the current Leica asph lenses were all cast/formed instead of being ground. So unless the design really needs the unusual surface quality would likely be higher with ground objectives.

If you want one get a larger one and some step-up rings. It is way better than a gray card, but a little more cumbersome than an incident light meter (say a Gossen Digisix, which doesn't cost too much more). However, for color balance (instead of metering) a white coffee cup lid might be fine (I have no idea). Another cute thing is you can put the disk on top of filters and meter without having to dial in �filter factor.�
